Today, the SeaWolves look to snap a three-game slide as they take on the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) in the third game of a four-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the SeaWolves jumped out to a 2-0 lead but were outscored 6-1 the remainder of the game, The loss dropped the 'Wolves to 0-8 against the Curve this season. Righty Tommy Collier takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 10th start of the season, third with Erie and first against Altoona. Collier took his second straight no-decision in his last start against Reading on June 2. In the game, he allowed a run on six hits with two walks and five strikeouts in seven innings of work. Collier left the game with a 2-1 lead but the bullpen couldn't hold it and Erie lost the game 10-2... RHP Chad Kuhl takes the mound for the Curve making his 11th start and second against Erie. Kuhl beat the 'Wolves on April 24 allowing a run on five hits with a walk and two strikeouts in six innings. Kuhl has won two straight starts. In his last start against New Britain, Kuhl allowed two runs on five hits with two walks and five strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work.
