----- Tonight, the SeaWolves continue an eight-game homestand, starting a four-game weekend series against the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) at Jerry Uht Park. Yesterday afternoon, the SeaWolves squandered a late, five-run lead en route to an 8-6 loss to Reading. The SeaWolves and Phillies split the four-game series...After dropping the first two games of the season series, Erie has gone on to win three of the last four against the Aeros. The 'Wolves currently trail Akron by 6.5 games in the Western Division...Akron is 6-4 in its last 10 and is coming off a 4-3 loss in Trenton last night...Tonight, lefty Ramon Garcia takes the mound in the opening game of the Akron series making his seventh appearance, sixth start and third start against the Aeros. Garcia is 2-0 against Akron. He took a loss in his last start at Altoona on May 20. In the game, he allowed four runs, three earned, on three hits with a walk and a season-high eight strikeouts in seven innings of work. Erie lost the game 5-0...Lefty T.J. McFarland takes the mound for Akron making his 10th start and second against Erie. McFarland has won six consecutive starts. In his last outing against Richmond, he allowed a run on 12 hits with no walks and six strikeouts in seven innings. He beat Erie on May 15 at Jerry Uht Park. He has not allowed a walk in his last three outings. McFarland's lone loss came on April 17 against Bowie. He is 4-0 with a 1.90 ERA in four road starts.
