Tonight, the SeaWolves look to equal their longest winning streak of the season and get their record back to .500 as they take on the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) in the middle game of a three-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the SeaWolves took down the Senators in dramatic fashion as Michael Bertram connected on a game-winning home run in the bottom of the 10th inning sending the âWolves to their third straight win...The âWolves enter play tonight in third place in the Western Division, 4.5 games behind the first place Senators who have dropped two straight games. The SeaWolves have not been. 500 since May 10 when the club was 15-15...Righty Luke Putkonen takes the mound for the Howlers making his 11th start and first against the Senators. Putkonen took his seventh loss of the season in his last start against Reading on May 30. In the game, he allowed seven runs on eight hits with three walks and a strikeout. Erie lost the game 7-4. He has lost his last four and seven of his last eight starts. Putkonen has not allowed fewer than five runs since his start on May 8...Left hander Oliver Perez takes the mound for Harrisburg making his fourth start. Perez earned a win in his last start against Bowie on May 29. In the game, he shutout the Baysox for six innings allowing five hits with no walks and five strikeouts. Perez last tossed in the Major Leagues in 2010 with the New York Mets where he made 17 appearances and 7 starts going 0-5 with a 6.80 ERA.
