----- Tonight, the SeaWolves continue an eight-day road trip as they play the first of a three-game series against the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees) at Waterfront Park. Both Erie and Trenton were rained out on Sunday and have enjoyed consecutive off-days. The SeaWolves took two of three from Bowie over the weekend and notched their first series win of the season. Erie enters play today three games under .500 and in fifth place in the Western Division...Trenton dropped two of three to Harrisburg over the weekend including a 4-1 loss on Saturday that dropped their record to 8-8...Trenton swept Erie last week at Jerry Uht Park, outscoring the 'Wolves 19-6 in the three-game set...Erie has yet to win a series opener this season...The 'Wolves send righty Mark Sorensen to the mound making his Erie debut. Sorensen, who made 17 starts with the SeaWolves in 2011, began the season in Class-A Lakeland where he made a pair of starts. Sorensen took a loss in his last start at Clearwater on April 14. In the game, he allowed five runs on nine hits with no walks and no strikeouts. Lakeland lost the game 6-2...Trenton counters with RHP Brett Marshall who is making his fourth start and second against the SeaWolves. He beat Erie in his last start on April 17 tossing six innings, allowing two runs on four hits with a walk and three strikeouts...The SeaWolves will play three in Trenton before heading back to Erie to begin a seven-game homestand starting on Friday.
