ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...
Tonight, the SeaWolves continue a six-game road trip as they begin a three-game weekend series at Merchantsauto.com Stadium against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays). The SeaWolves are coming off of a series win in Portland capped off with a 5-1 win last night. The 'Wolves have won back-to-back games for the first time since winning four straight May 15-19. The series win was Erie's first since taking two of three from Richmond May 18-20 and snapped a string of seven straight non-winning series...The 'Wolves were swept by the Fisher Cats at Jerry Uht Park last week. Erie needs to return the favor to avoid its first season series loss to the Fisher Cats since 2007...Tonight, lefty Ramon Garcia makes his 11th appearance and third start of the season. Garcia has struggled as a starter in two previous starts (last May 22). In his two starts, Garcia is 0-2 with a 10.29 ERA. He took a loss in his last appearance against Portland June 9. Garcia did not appear in the series against the Cats last week...Righty Bobby Bell takes the mound for New Hampshire. Bell makes his ninth start and second against the SeaWolves. He took a no-decision against the 'Wolves on June 12 going four innings, allowing four runs on seven hits with a walk and two strikeouts. Bell's last win came on May 13 before heading on the disabled list.

Erie has lost 20 of the 26 games played against opponents from the East. Erie has won back-to-back games against the East for the first time since May 5-6 vs. Binghamton- Merchantsauto.com stadium boasts one of the shortest outfield dimensions down a line in the EL. It is only 306' down the line in right field.
