Tonight, the SeaWolves begin their second-to-last road trip of the season as they take on the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) in the opening game of a three-game series at Metro Bank Park. Last night, the SeaWolves dropped the series finale with Trenton 5-2. Erie has dropped back-to-back games heading into this series...The SeaWolves have struggled against the Senators this season dropping seven of the 10 meetings between the two clubs. Erie is 0-4 at Metro Bank Park in 2011...The SeaWolves have dropped four of their last six road games, winning just the series openers in their last two road series at New Hampshire and Portland...Lefty Casey Crosby makes his 22nd start of the season and his second against the Senators. Crosby took a loss at Metro Bank Park on July 7 allowing five runs on eight hits in six innings. Crosby took a no-decision in his last start at Portland on August 14. In the game, he allowed three runs, two earned, on two hits with three walks and six strikeouts in five-plus innings of work. Erie lost the game 9-5...Lefty Oliver Perez takes the mound for Harrisburg making his 13th start and third against the SeaWolves. Perez is 1-1 against the SeaWolves this season. He took a loss in his last start against Trenton allowing seven runs, three earned, on eight hits with two walks and five strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work...The Senators are 7-3 in their last 10 games and hold a two game lead over Bowie in the Western Division...Erie is 4-6 in the last 10 games.
