Baysox, Thunder Postponed

Trenton, N.J. - The Bowie Baysox Friday evening game against the Trenton Thunder has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday evening, beginning at 6:05 p.m. In accordance with Minor League Baseball rules, both games will be seven innings.

LHP Mike Ballard (7-1, 3.48) takes the mound for the Baysox in the first game of the doubleheader against Trenton. RHP Eddie Gamboa (2-5, 3.32) is scheduled to start the second game for Bowie.

The Baysox are on the road through Sunday, Aug. 21, for road trip that includes stops in Richmond and Trenton. The team returns home Monday, August 22 for a three-game home stand against Akron.
