Tonight, the SeaWolves try and snap a three-game losing streak as they take on the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles) in the middle game of a three-game series at Prince George's Stadium. Last night, the SeaWolves grabbed a 2-1 lead in the top of the seventh inning, but allowed the Baysox to score three unanswered runs en route to their third straight loss. Tonight, righty Austin Kubitza makes his ninth start of the season and second against the Baysox . Kubitza earned a win against Bowie on April 17 allowing two runs on four hits with three walks and two strikeouts in five innings of work. Kubitza has struggled in the month of May. In five May starts, he is 0-4 with a no-decision and a 7.46 ERA. Kubitza took a loss in his last start against Trenton on May 22. In the game, he allowed five runs on nine hits with a walk and two strikeouts in four innings of work. Erie lost the game 8-6... RHP Bud Norris makes a rehab start with the Baysox . Norris made six starts for Baltimore this season going 1-4 with a 9.88 ERA. Norris last appeared with Triple-A Norfolk on May 22 allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 2.2 innings of work.
