ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...
Tonight, the SeaWolves look to make it two straight wins as they take the field in the third game of a four game series at Blair County Ballpark against the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates). The two clubs have split the first two games of the series, including a 13-4 win in game two for Erie. The 13 runs tied a season high for Erie which was also done in an 18-13 loss to Binghamton on April 11 at Jerry Uht Park. The SeaWolves have not won back-to-back games since winning four straight over Bowie to open the season....Lefite Danny Christensen takes the mound for the 'Wolves, making his third start of the season. He is in search of his first win after taking losses to Harrisburg and Bowie. All of Christensen's seven runs given up this season have come on four home runs. The longball has plagued Christensen over the past two seasons giving up 23 in 2006 and 2007. Erie's pitching staff has given up 18 home runs which is second-most in the EL...RHP Josh Hill will also make his third start of the season for the Curve. Both of his previous two outings have been against Trenton. In his last start, Hill went five innings of shutout, one-hit ball. He walked two and struck out two in a win against the Thunder...Erie is tied for the league lead in stolen bases (25), however, they are 0-for-1 in the two games against the Curve...The 'Wolves need one more win in this series against Altoona in order to avoid dropping four straight series...The SeaWolves are in a stretch where they will play Altoona in 9 of the next 15 games,
