Tonight, the SeaWolves look to avoid losing three consecutive games as they take on the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) in the third game of a four game series at Canal Park. Last night, the SeaWolves dropped their ninth straight at Canal Park, falling to the Aeros 5-2 in the second game of the series. Erie has lost the last six games against Akron and has dropped 12 of the 16 meetings against the Aeros this season...Tonight, lefty Jon Kilber makes his return to the Erie rotation after spending the last three months with Class-A Lakeland. Kibler began the season with Erie making 13 starts with the Howlers before heading to Lakeland. He made 12 starts with the Flying Tigers and was 4-4 with a 3.58 ERA. Kibler is 1-0 against the Aeros this season and in his career is 3-1 in six starts vs. Akron...Lefty Matt Packer takes the mound for Akron making his fifth appearance and fourth start. He took a loss in his last outing against Harrisburg allowing two runs on six hits with a walk and four strikeouts in five innings of work. Packer began the season with Class-A Lake County and made 24 appearances, 13 starts. He was 8-5 with a save and a 1.60 ERA with the Captains.
