----- Tonight, the first place SeaWolves look to extend their longest winning streak of the season as they take on the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) in the middle game of a three-game series at Canal Park. Last night, the SeaWolves fell behind early 3-0 but went on to outscore the Aeros 7-1 after the fourth inning en route to their sixth straight win. The SeaWolves are a season-high seven games over .500. It is the first time since May 19, 2010 that the SeaWolves are seven games over the .500 mark...Kyle Lobstein takes the mound tonight for Erie making his seventh start of the season and first against the Aeros. Lobstein has won back-to-back starts allowing two runs, one earned, over his last 15 innings pitched. He earned his third win in his last start at Binghamton on May 2. In the game, he allowed an unearned run on one hit with two walks and six strikeouts in seven innings. He took a no-hitter into the seventh with two outs before the first Mets hit. Erie won the game 9-1...RHP Danny Salazar takes the mound for Akron making his seventh start. Salazar earned his second win in his last start against Altoona tossing six shutout innings, allowing one hit with two walks and a season-high 12 strikeouts. Salazar has not allowed a run over his last three starts and has struck out at least nine over that span.
