Eri Yoshida Autographed Picture and Team Picture Night Set For June 12th

(Chico, CA June 9th, 2010) The Chico Outlaws have announced that Saturday night, June 12th, will be Eri Yoshida Autographed Picture Night at Nettleton Stadium, presented by Lifetouch Photography.
The Outlaws team photo will also be handed out on June 12th, providing fans with a two for one picture night. All Outlaws players and field staff (with the exception of Yoshida, who is that night's starting pitcher) will be available prior to the game from 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm to autograph the team photo.
The first 1000 fans through the gate will receive a limited edition (numbered) photograph personally autographed by the Japanese knuckleballer and the team picture, both courtesy of Lifetouch Photography.
The Outlaws host the Yuma Scorpions as the 18-year old "Knuckle Princess" makes her second start of the year for Chico against the Golden Baseball League's top team in the Southern Division. Game time is set for 7:05 pm.
Yoshida made baseball history in her last start on May 29th against Tijuana, becoming the first woman to pitch professionally in two countries and also the first woman since the Negro League was in existence to record a base hit in a professional game. The National Baseball Hall of Fame has recognized Yoshida's accomplishment and plans are being made for Hall of Fame representatives to attend a game in Chico later this month for a formal ceremony in which Yoshida will donate her jersey from her debut game and also the bat she used while recording the base hit to the Hall.
