Hickory, NC - The Crawdads fell 2-1 to the Charleston RiverDogs on Thursday night in the second half opener.

The RiverDogs took a 2-0 lead in the second inning off 'Dads starter Tyree Thompson.

The 'Dads got a run back in the third inning with a solo homerun by Kole Enright, his second homer of the year.

Thompson finished the evening after five innings, giving up two earned runs. He struck out two, walked three, and allowed six hits. Abdiel Mendoza and Grant Anderson each pitched two scoreless innings of relief yielding one hit a piece.

Tomorrow the 'Dads celebrate Disney Night and fans dressed as their favorite Disney character can receive a discounted $5 ticket to the game. The Enchanted Elegance Princesses will be at the park for a meet and greet. VIP tickets are available now for just $5.
