August 9, 2019 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
OKC Energy FC News Release

Energy FC (8th, 7-7-9, 30 points) are back at Taft Stadium after drawing 1-1 with Tulsa Roughnecks FC last Saturday. Christian Eissele put the Greens ahead before Tulsa leveled through fortunate circumstances.

One of the hottest teams in the league, Fresno FC (3rd, 11-3-7, 40 points) comes to Taft Stadium this Saturday. The Foxes have only lost once in their last nine matches and are most recently coming off a 2-1 win at home over Las Vegas Lights FC. The start of that nine-match streak began against Energy FC on June 8, when the sides drew 1-1 at Chukchansi Park. Deshorn Brown's late goal salvaged a valuable road point after Jemal Johnson had put the hosts ahead. In three meetings all time, OKC has yet to defeat Fresno, drawing twice and losing once.

Qudus Lawal and Johnson lead the Foxes with seven goals each. Jackson and Juan Pablo Caffa have the most assists with five. Former Energy FC goalkeeper CJ Cochran has appeared in all 21 of FFC's matches this season, keeping six clean sheets and conceding 21 goals. Brown leads the way with nine goals for Energy FC, while Omar Gordon has the most assists with six. Cody Laurendi leads the league with 77 saves.
