Real Monarchs SLC Set to Host Tulsa Roughnecks FC on Saturday

HERRIMAN, Utah - Real Monarchs SLC (9-7-4, 31 points, 6 West) welcomes Tulsa Roughnecks FC to Zions Bank Stadium on Saturday, August 10. Kickoff from Herriman is set for 8:00 p.m. MT and can be viewed live on ESPN+.

'Theo Night' highlights matchday at Zions Bank Stadium as the club celebrates its mascot. Theo the Lion alongside mascots from around the valley will be attendance at the match. Real Monarchs moved to the top of the Four-Corners Cup table and 6th in the West after picking up the three points over regional rivals Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC in a 1-0 win. FW Damian German left it late, scoring his first professional goal in the 86thminute to put the Monarchs ahead. The Monarchs also earned its sixth shutout of the season and its third straight home shutout at Zions Bank Stadium with a solid defense to cut out the Switchbacks FC offense.

The Monarchs now turn its attention to Tulsa Roughnecks FC as it looks to sweep the 2019 series between the two sides. After picking up its first back-to-back win in a 3-1 victory over Tulsa Roughnecks FC at ONEOK Field, Real Monarchs SLC now hosts the Roughnecks at Zions Bank Stadium where it boasts a 2019 record of 7-2-1.
