
Edmonton Oil Kings to Mutually Part Ways with Assistant Coach and Manager of Player Development, Serge Lajoie

(Edmonton, AB) - The Edmonton Oil Kings have announced a change in their coaching staff.
The Edmonton Oil Kings announced today that they have mutually parted ways with Assistant Coach and Manager of Player Development, Serge Lajoie. Serge joined the Oil Kings ahead of the 2022-23 season and was an integral part of the team's coaching staff.
"Reflecting on the past two seasons with the Edmonton Oil Kings fills me with immense gratitude. Thank you to everyone in the organization for the unforgettable experiences, growth, opportunities, and wonderful memories," said Serge Lajoie.
"A heartfelt thank you to all the players for their dedication, hard work, and passion for the game over the past two seasons. Wishing you all continued success in your hockey careers, both on and off the ice. I am excited to embark on a new coaching journey as I pursue my next opportunity" added Lajoie.
"We would like to thank Serge Lajoie for his dedication both on and off the ice to our organization over the past two seasons" said General Manager and President of Hockey Operations, Kirt Hill.
"His leadership of our player development department and contributions to our prospect pool will leave a lasting impact on the wave of young players who join our club over the next two seasons" added Hill.
The Oil Kings wish both Serge and the entire Lajoie family the best and thank him for his contributions to the organization.
