
Howe and Vaughan Twins Crack NHL Central Scoutings Final Rankings Ahead of 2024 NHL Draft

Regina, Sask. - NHL Central Scouting announced their Final Rankings ahead of the 2024 Upper Deck NHL Draft on Tuesday.
Pats captain Tanner Howe is ranked #41 amongst North American Skaters, while Jaxsin Vaughan comes in at #150 and Corbin Vaughan checks in at #155.
Howe, 18, led the Pats goals (28), assists (49), points (77), power play points (23) and games this past season, playing in all 68 games. The Prince Albert, Sask. product hit the 200 game mark near the end of the season and has missed just one game in the last two seasons. The first-year captain now ranks T-65th in franchise history in games (207), 57th in goals (92), 34th in assists (141) and T-44th in points (233). For a second straight season, the 5-foot-11, 185 lb. left-shot forward reached 49 assists as well as 20+ goals for a third season, and the 60+ point mark for a third straight year.
The Vaughan's, 18, finished their second season with the Pats after completing their 16-year-old season with the club in 2022-23, where both played in 50+ games. In the 2023-24 season, Corbin has tallied eight points (4G-4A) in 33 games while Jaxsin has picked up 25 points (15G-10A) in 59 contests. Hailing from Merritt, B.C., the twins were selected nine picks apart in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft with Jaxsin going 21st overall and Corbin 30th overall. Both were listed on NHL Central Scouting's Mid-Season Rankings, with Corbin ranked 136th and Jaxsin ranked 148th.
Pats European prospect Stian Solberg comes in at #20 amongst International Skaters. The Oslo, Norway product finished the 2023-24 campaign with 15 points (5G-10A) in 42 games with Vålerenga of Norway's top pro league. The 2005-born left-shot defenceman is listed at 6-foot-2, 201 lb. and competed with Norway at the 2024 World Juniors, recording two points (1G-1A) in five contests.
The 2024 draft will reportedly be held at Sphere in Las Vegas, with the first round June 28 and Rounds 2-7 on June 29. The NHL Draft Lottery to determine the first 16 picks in the draft will be determined at a later date.
