May scored a goal seven seconds into the first period at Stockton on
Thursday, one second shy of the league record for Fastest Goal From Start
Of A Game held by Glenn Clark of Louisville, who scored six seconds into
the game against Johnstown on Mar. 11, 1994. May registered a natural hat
trick with goals at 6:18 and 7:39 of the first period and added a
career-high fourth goal at 18:50 of the third to finish with a career-best
four points.

* The ECHL celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2007-08 and is the
third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National
Hockey League and the American Hockey League.
* ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in four states and has grown to be
a coast-to-coast league with 21 teams in 16 states and British Columbia in
2008-09.
* The league officially changed its name from East Coast Hockey League to
