Earthquakes Take on the Dallas Burn in 2002 Season Opener

San Jose, Calif. (March 22, 2001) -The 2001 MLS Cup Champion San Jose Earthquakes will kick off the 2002 season at 5:30 p.m. (PT) on Saturday, March 23 when they take on the Dallas Burn at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, TX. The Quakes' season-opening match will be broadcast by Fox Sports Net on Tape Delay at 7:00 p.m. (PT).
The Earthquakes - Burn match up will feature a reunion of sorts when the Earthquakes' Ariel Graziani and the Burn's Ronald Cerritos square off against their former teams for the first time since the preseason trade that brought Graziani to San Jose and sent Cerritos to Dallas.
