
Earthquakes Announce Playoff Activation Schedule

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes today announced a series of community activations leading up to their Round One playoff match against Sporting Kansas City on Sunday, Nov. 22. The match, presented by Intermedia Cloud Communications, kicks off at 1 p.m. PT and will be broadcast live on FS1 and Fox Deportes. The activations include Quake It Up days, a contest for fans to win an Earthquakes Stadium experience in their homes, a car parade that will pass through prominent areas in the South Bay and more.
Tuesday, November 10 - Wednesday, November 18
The Earthquakes are running a contest for fans to win an Earthquakes Stadium experience brought to their homes. One winner will get a pair of stadium seats to watch the match, plus a 70-inch TV and two Unity Jerseys to keep. To enter, fans should fill out this form and include a write-up of their favorite Quakes moment ever by Wednesday, November 18.

The Earthquakes distributed blue light bulbs and held outdoor photoshoots with select season ticket holders.
Monday, November 16
Quake it Up! Members of the Earthquakes' Front Office distributed window decals and flags to businesses around San Jose to raise awareness for Sunday's match.

Hungry fans can indulge in a food special at Tacomania all week long! Receive a free super taco with any purchase when you wear your Quakes gear.
Thursday, November 19
Season Ticket Holders have opportunity to participate in a video chat with radio broadcaster Ted Ramey and former Quakes defender Marvell Wynne as part of the club's Digital Devotion Day series, powered by Intermedia Cloud Communications. Fans will have the chance to ask questions about the Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs and hear the broadcaster perspective on the upcoming match.
The Quakes will also host a digital Happy Hour for the team's most devoted fans and followers on Twitter.
Friday, November 20
Fans should stay tuned for a chance to take home a playoff swag pack. The club will announce a first come, first served location and time on Twitter this Friday.
Fans will also be encouraged to fly their Earthquakes flags at home as part of Flag Friday.
Saturday, November 21
The Earthquakes have organized a car parade featuring several noteworthy vehicles, including an Audi R8 Spyder, 2003 Ford Thunderbird, 1961 Chevrolet Impala and a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible, to caravan throughout San Jose and the surrounding communities. Between 3-6 p.m., the cars will journey from Earthquakes Stadium through The Alameda, past Santana Row, into Campbell and Willow Glen, before passing through East San Jose and Downtown San Jose en route back to the stadium along Coleman Highline.
Fans are encouraged to hang their flags outside their homes, turn on their blue light bulbs and show their Earthquakes fandom. The car parade will be handing out prizes and giveaways to fans showing their Earthquakes pride along the way.
Sunday, November 22
Match day! Kickoff from Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas is set for 1 p.m. PT.
The Quakes will host a free, Drive-In Viewing Party, presented by El Jimador, for the match. Fans will come together in the 7UP Epicenter at Earthquakes Stadium to cheer on the team at a safe social distance. This event is already sold out.
