
Eagles Pull Away in Third , 6-3

(Loveland, CO) - Kevin Ulanski scored a hat trick, and two of the Eagles' six goals bounced off Jacks' sticks, as Colorado improved on their league best record with a 6-3 win over Odessa at the Budweiser Events Center on Friday night.
Odessa tied the game at 3-3 on a Mike Lesperance power play goal :49 into the third period. The Eagles returned with three unanswered goals to finish the game. The final two were scored by Kevin Ulanski to give him a hat trick and five points in the game.
At the end of the first period Odessa led the Eagles 2-1 after Mario Joly scored a power play goal with :36 seconds left in the period. Colorado answered in the second to take a 3-2 lead into the third period.
All three of the Jackalopes' goals in the game came with a man advantage.
The Jacks will face the Rocky Mountain Rage Saturday night the Broomfield Events Center at 8:05 PM. The game can be heard on 97 Gold.
