
Killer Bees Place Perrin On IR, Activate Shmyr

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
HIDALGO, TEXAS --- The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League today placed defenseman Jesse Perrin on the 30-day injured reserve list and activated forward and team Captain Ryan Shmyr from the injured reserve.
Perrin, 21, has appeared in 32 games for the Killer Bees this season and collected nine points (1-8-9) along with 17 PIM and a plus-2 rating. He left Friday's game late in the second period with a lower body injury and did not return.
Shmyr returns to the lineup after missing 14 games with an arm injury. He last played in a 4-2 loss to New Mexico on Dec. 13. The 31-year-old forward has a goal and 42 PIM in 21 games this season.
The Killer Bees host the Amarillo Gorillas in the final game of a five-game home stand tonight at the Dodge Arena beginning at 7:30 p.m.
