HOUSTON, TX (Friday, July 24, 2009) -- The Houston Dynamo will return home after seven consecutive road games to play at home for the first time since June 20 when they take on the New England Revolution on Saturday at Robertson Stadium.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m., and the game can be seen on KHOU 11.2 and TV Informa and can be heard on 790 The Sports Animal and 850 La Ranchera. A special ticket deal with proceeds going to the Nothing But Nets program is available at HoustonDynamo.com/nets.

The Dynamo (9-4-5, 32 points) have a four-point lead atop the Western Conference, although Seattle has a game in hand. Houston currently has a 17-game home regular season unbeaten streak, third in MLS history behind San Jose (18, 2004-05) and Columbus (18, active), but their last home regular season loss came to New England on June 12, 2008. The Dynamo have the best home record (5-0-3) in MLS this season. Midfielder Brad Davis is likely to make his 100th career Dynamo start in all competitions on Saturday; he would become the sixth player in team history to reach that mark.

New England (5-5-5, 20 points) is currently in fifth place out of seven teams in the Eastern Conference. The Revolution have been hit severely by injuries and have also only played 15 MLS games due to their participation in SuperLiga. New England is led by perennial All-Star midfielder Shalrie Joseph, who has filled in at forward at times and has five goals and five assists on the season, and midfielder Steve Ralston, the league's all-time leader in minutes played and assists, who has five goals and four assists.

The Dynamo could be without up to six regulars for the game, including: forwards Brian Ching (U.S. national team) and Cam Weaver (groin); midfielders Stuart Holden (U.S. national team) and Brian Mullan (ankle); and defenders Richard Mulrooney (knee) and Eddie Robinson (knee). New Engalnd will be without defender Jay Heaps (U.S. national team) and could miss several other players due to injury.

Following Saturday's game, the Dynamo will next be in action on Saturday, August 1, when they host D.C. United at Robertson Stadium.

The Houston Dynamo are a Major League Soccer franchise that won two MLS Cup championships in its first three seasons and qualified to represent the United States in four consecutive regional championships.
