Dynamo Captain Héctor Herrera Named to MLSSoccer.com's Team of the Matchday

HOUSTON - Houston Dynamo FC midfielder Héctor Herrera was named to the MLSSoccer.com Team of Matchday for Matchday 4, the league announced today.
Herrera is the first Dynamo player named to the team this season and this is the first Team of the Matchday honor for the midfielder since joining the team last July. Herrera scored his first goal for the Dynamo on Saturday as Houston claimed a 2-0 victory over Austin FC at Shell Energy Stadium.
The Mexican international was key in securing the Dynamo's first win of the season and led the team in total passes, accurate passes, touches and shots. Defensively, the midfielder finished with two interceptions and won possession 15 times. Herrera also earned Man of the Match honors following the match on Saturday.
