Sporting Kansas City News Release
Sporting Kansas City will host reigning Concacaf Champions League winners Seattle Sounders FC at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday at Children's Mercy Park. Tickets are available online from match sponsor SeatGeek, including standing room only tickets released earlier today.
The Western Conference clash will kick off at 7:39 p.m. CT and will stream live on Apple TV for MLS Season Pass subscribers in both English and Spanish with pre-match programming starting at 7:10 p.m. CT. Radio coverage will also air locally in English on ESPN 94.5 FM and 1510 AM, as well as in Spanish on La Grande 1340 AM with streams available in the Sporting KC app.
Argyle Ace presented by Mazuma, a fundraising raffle that features weekly prizes and a progressive cash jackpot, continues with half of all proceeds going directly to The Victory Project. Fans can participate online at ArgyleAce.comin advance of the next drawing at 3 p.m. CT on Tuesday with the jackpot currently over $32,000.
A new edition of The Sporting KC Show presented by Central Bank will air on Sports Radio 810 WHB from 7-8 p.m. CT on Wednesday with hosts Aly Trost Martin and Nate Bukaty. The Sporting KC Show Podcast is available on Spotify, iTunes and SportingKC.com, giving supporters a weekly destination to catch up on club storylines, player achievements, guest interviews and more.
On Thursday, Children's Mercy Park will host a Town Hall with Peter Vermes for KC Cauldron members. The event will start at 6 p.m. in the UMB Field Club with drinks and light snacks provided. KC Cauldron members can reserve free tickets online and parking will be available on the Mazuma Plaza.
Sporting KC Academy midfielder Kaile Auvray remains with the Trinidad and Tobago Men's National Team and the 18-year-old will be available for selection when the nation plays the Bahamas at 3 p.m. CT on on Friday at Thomas Robinson Stadium in Nassau in 2022-23 Concacaf Nations League B action. The son of former Sporting KC midfielder Stephane Auvray (2010-11), Auvray joined the Sporting KC Academy in January and participated in preseason with Sporting KC II prior to joining Trinidad & Tobago.
Sporting KC forward Marinos Tzionis has joined the Cyprus Men's National Team for the start of UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying as Cyprus plays Scotland at 9 a.m. CT on Saturday at Hampden Park in Glasgow, Scotland. Cyprus is aiming to qualify for the UEFA European Championship for the first time in its history.

Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members, as well as members of Sporting Kansas City supporters groups, are eligible to receive complimentary tickets for Sporting away matches. Requests for SEAvSKC on May 7 will open on Friday and requests are also open for SJvSKC on April 15 and NEvSKC on April 22. Requests close two weeks before the match or once the allotment of away supporters tickets is reached.
The Sporting KC Academy will continue the 2022-23 MLS NEXT season this weekend. The Sporting KC U-14s (12 p.m. on Saturday), U-15s (10 a.m. on Sunday) and U-17s (10 a.m. on Sunday) will travel to play San Antonio FC. The U-15s (2 p.m. on Saturday), U-17s (2 p.m. on Saturday) and U-19s (12 p.m. on Saturday) will also play Rio Grande Valley FC in San Antonio. Sporting KC II will kick off the team's 2023 MLS NEXT Pro campaign against Colorado Rapids 2 at 8 p.m. CT on Sunday at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado. The match will stream live on Apple TV and fans can follow @SportingKCII on Twitter for updates throughout the season.
Sporting KC will host the fifth annual Sporting Next-Gen Invitational beginning Friday featuring many of the top boys and girls youth teams from across the region in the U-8 through U-15 age groups. The tournament will see more than 225 teams take the field with matches held at Compass Minerals National Performance Center, Compass Minerals Sporting Fields and Central Bank Sporting Complex.
