The Bulls play the finale of a four-game set against the Columbus Clippers in the first series of a seven-game homestand. Durham has lost four straight games after winning 18 of its previous 23 contests, and enters the day not in first place in the IL South for the first time since 6/7. The Bulls haven't been in 2nd place or worse in the IL South this deep into the season since 2012, when it finished the year in third place in the division at 66-78. Columbus - the Cleveland Indians' top affiliate - is 4-2 over the first six games of its seven-game road trip, and is 11-4 over its last 15.
