LHP Hoby Milner (1-0, 3.00) vs. RHP John Means (6-4, 3.35)
The Durham Bulls fell 4-3 (10-innings) in the second game of a four-game series on Saturday night at Harbor Park. Durham's lead in the South Division was cut to 4.5 games and its Magic Number held at five with the extra-innings loss. Tonight, Hoby Milner makes his first start for Durham (11th appearance) after being acquired in a trade from Philadelphia on July 15. John Means is scheduled to start for the Tides. This is Milner's second appearance against the Tides this season. On April 23 with Lehigh Valley, he threw 2.0 scoreless-innings, with two walks and one strikeout out of the bullpen. Means, on the other hand, has a 1-0 record with a 0.00 ERA (7.0 IP, 0 ER) against the Bulls, with one walk and nine strikeouts in his one start on July 7 at the DBAP. First pitch is scheduled for 4:05 p.m.
