
Duda Named CHL Oakley Player of the Week

WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder are proud to announce that veteran forward Jason Duda has been named the CHL's Oakley Player of the Week.
Duda scored three goals and an assist in three games over the weekend. The Sexsmith, Alberta native is currently on a five-game point streak in which he has four goals and four assists.
On October 31st vs. Rocky Mountain, Duda notched his 500th assist in a Thunder uniform in a 3-1 Thunder win. Now in his 13th season with Wichita, Duda ranks third all-time in the CHL in goals (321), fourth in assists (506), fourth in points (827), and third in games played (690). Duda collected his 500th career assist on March 22nd of last season.
Duda will receive a special gift from Oakley for the award.
Wichita is back in action this Friday at the Kansas Coliseum, when they host the New Mexico Scorpions. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. For tickets, call the Thunder office at 264-GOAL.
