Laredo Bucks News Release
LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League were once again out in the community in full force last week. Here is a list of where Bucks coaches, players, front office staff, and Bucky were last week, and where they are going this week. Look for the weekly Bucks community update on www.laredobucks.com.
Last week Bucks players visited four different Laredo schools. The players visited Zachary, Tilden, Tarver, and Santa Nino Elementary Schools, speaking on being drug free, and the importance of staying in school.
Below is a list of the events the Bucks organization attended last week, and will attend this week.
WHERE WE'VE BEEN (October 25th October 31th):
Monday, October 27th: Director of Public Relations Nicole Kupaks, Darryl Smith and Vincent Zaore attended the Gateway Rotary Meeting, at Embassy Suites. Monday, October 27th: Darryl Smith, Vincent Zaore and Nicole Kupaks visited Zachary Elementary, 3200 Chacota. Tuesday, October 28th: Matt Summers, Ryan Gibb and Director of Public Relations Nicole Kupaks visited Tarver Elementary, 3200 Tilden Ave. Wednesday, October 29th: Account Executive Justin Farris attended the Laredo Rotary meeting, at the Holiday Inn. Wednesday, October 29th: Jason Dixon, Ryan Gibb and Nicole Kupaks visited Santa Nino, 2701 Bismark. Wednesday, October 29th: Adam Rivet, Igor Agarunov, Alex Goupil, Bucky and Director of Media Relations and Broadcasting Bryan Benway attended a pep rally at Killam Elementary, 5511 Fairfield Drive . Wednesday, October 29th: Account Executive Kyle Reynolds attended the Laredo Next-Generation Rotary Meeting, at Hal's Landing.
WHERE WE'RE GOING (November 3rd -November 8th):
Monday, November 3rd: Head Coach and General Manager Terry Ruskowski and Jeff Bes will play in the LMA Golf Tournament, at the Laredo Country Club, at 8:30am. Monday, November 3rd: Director of Public Relations Nicole Kupaks will attend the Gateway Rotary Meeting, at Embassy Suites, at noon. Monday, November 3rd: Ryan Hand, Devin Featherstone and Director of Public Relations Nicole Kupaks will visit Santa Maria Elementary, 3817 Santa Maria , at 1:15pm Tuesday, November 4th: Front Office Members Nicole Kupaks and Sara Navaro will attend the Laredo Chamber of Commerce November Business of the Month Celebration for Culligan, 3020 E. Locust, at 9am. Wednesday, November 4th: Director of Media Relations and Broadcasting Bryan Benway will be interviewed on 98.1 and 99.3 at 10:30am. Wednesday, November 5th: Account Executive Justin Farris will attend the Laredo Rotary meeting, at the Holiday Inn, at noon. Wednesday, November 5th: Steve Weidlich, Sebastien Centomo and Director of Public Relations Nicole Kupaks will visit Ryan Elementary, 2401 Clark , at 1:15pm Wednesday, November 5th: Account Executive Kyle Reynolds will attend the Laredo Next-Generation Rotary Meeting, at Hal's Landing, at 7pm. Thursday, November 6th: Director of Public Relations Nicole Kupaks will attend the Bienvenidos Meeting, at the Laredo Chamber of Commerce boardroom, at noon. Thursday, November 6th: Director of Media Relations and Broadcating Bryan Benway will be interviewed on 98.1 and 99.3 at 10:30am Friday, November 7th: Director of Media Relations and Broadcasting Bryan Benway will be interviewed on 98.1 and 99.3 at 2:30pm Friday, November 7th: Director of Public Relations Nicole Kupaks will attend the Ribbon Cutting Celebration for Walgreens, on Guadalupe, at 3pm. Friday, November 7th: Head Coach and General Manager Terry Ruskowski, Ryan Hand and Jaye Judd will welcome Santa, at Mall del Norte, at 7pm. Saturday, November 8th: Bucky will attend the LCC Veteran's Event from 12pm-1pm.
Since 2001 the Laredo Bucks take pride that they have been heavily involved in the Laredo community. The Bucks front office, coaching staff, players and Bucky have appeared at over 435 events in 2008, and look forward to many more.

Group tickets start at $10, come and check out the new "One Buck Dollar Menu", with five concession stand items costing just $5.
