Ducks Return September 3rd

Long Island Ducks News Release
(Central Islip, N.Y., Aug. 27, 2010) - The Long Island Ducks will return home for an exciting Labor Day weekend showdown with the cross-sound rival Bridgeport Bluefish on Friday, September 3rd. The Ducks will also face the Freedom Division rival Newark Bears as part of a day/night doubleheader on Monday, September 6th. Each game will feature exciting action as the Ducks seek a league-record seventh consecutive playoff berth.
Following are the dates and promotions for each game during the homestand:
Friday, Sept. 3rd, 7:05 vs. Bridgeport (6:05 gates) - CLICK HERE TO BUY TIX!
The Ducks begin their homestand, and the first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive Ducks Water Bottles, courtesy of the New York State Nurses Association.
Saturday, Sept. 4th, 7:05 vs. Bridgeport (6:05 gates) - CLICK HERE TO BUY TIX!
The Ferry Cup Series rolls on at the Duck Pond. Come out early and support the Ducks as they battle their cross-sound rivals.
Sunday, Sept. 5th, 1:35 vs. Bridgeport (12:35 gates) - CLICK HERE TO BUY TIX!
It's Sunday Funday at the Duck Pond! Fans will be invited onto the field prior to the game to meet the 2010 Long Island Ducks, as well as after the game for Kids Run the Bases, presented by Bethpage Federal Credit Union.
Monday, Sept. 6th, 12:00 vs. Newark (11:00 gates) - CLICK HERE TO BUY TIX! It's a Labor Day doubleheader as the Ducks and Bears start the day with a makeup game from the postponed contest on Sunday, August 22nd. Tickets from the August 22nd game are good for admittance to the ballpark.
Monday, Sept. 6th, 6:35 vs. Bridgeport (5:35 gates) - CLICK HERE TO BUY TIX! The Ducks and Bluefish close out the doubleheader and second annual Ferry Cup Series. Following the game, all fans will be treated to a Grucci Fireworks Extravaganza, presented by Empire BlueCross Blue Shield.
