
Ducks rally to defeat Wolves in OT

ROSEMONT, IL -- Joel Perrault scored a power-play goal with 59 seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 5-4 win over the Chicago Wolves at Allstate Arena.
Joffrey Lupul had two goals and one assist for the Ducks, who rallied from a 4-1 third-period deficit to win for the second time in their last three road games.
Michael Holmqvist and Alexei Smirnov also scored for Cincinnati, which outshot Chicago 49-25, including 18-2 in the third period and overtime. Joel Perrault added a pair of assists to go with his second career overtime winner.
Frederic Cassivi stopped 21 shots in the win for the Ducks, who have won three of their last five games after losing four in a row November 28-December 3 (0-3-0-1).
Brad Larsen had two goals for the Wolves, who snapped a four-game winning streak and fell to 1-3-0-0 against Cincinnati thi sseason, including 1-2-0-0 at home.
Michael Garnett surrendered three goals on 38 shots before being pulled in favor of Scott Frankhouser with 8:24 remaining in the third.
The Ducks begin a two-game series with Edmonton Friday at 10:30 p.m. ET at the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim.
