Crunch Announce Details of Anheuser Busch $50,000 Shot

Syracuse, NY (December 15, 2004) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today the details of the Anheuser Busch $50,000 shot to be held on Saturday, January 15.

Beginning today fans can register at area Rite Aid locations for a chance to win $50,000. One fan will be chosen at random to attempt to shoot a puck, from center ice, through a hole in a board, covering the net. If successful, the fan will win $50,000. Prior to attempting the shot, the fan will have the chance to practice the shot with a Crunch player, following a Syracuse practice.

Deadline for registration is Saturday, January 1. (Practice shot with players subject to availability. No purchase necessary for registration.)

The Crunch hosts Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Friday, December 17. On Saturday, December 18, Rochester visits Syracuse for the first-ever DestiNY USA Teddy Bear Toss. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444, at the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
