Bridgewater, NJ - The Long Island Ducks (21-18, 67-42) blanked the Somerset Patriots (21-18, 71-38) 1-0 in 13 innings Wednesday evening at TD Bank Ballpark.
In the top of the 13th inning third baseman Cody Puckett tallied a RBI sacrifice fly to break the scoreless tie.
Billy Buckner earned the win (8-3) in relief. Zach Clark suffered the loss (0-1) in relief. Amalio Diaz notched his 10th save of the season pitching the final frame.
