After stealing third, Frias scored on Zach Gentile's sacrifice fly, giving Greenville a 3-2 lead going into the bottom of the fourth.

Tatis walked Gibson and gave up a single to former McGuiness to open the fifth. Ronald Bermudez was then hit by a pitch to load the bases for Wilkerson. Wilkerson's sacrifice fly plated Gibson from third, making the score 4-2 going into the bottom of the fifth.
