Arkansas Travelers News Release

North Little Rock, AR-A late comeback was not in the cards tonight as the Tulsa Drillers held off the Arkansas Travelers, 3-2 on Thursday night at Dickey-Stephens Park. Luke Raley hit two homeruns for the Drillers, both solo shots to open and cap their scoring. Three Drillers relievers combined for 4.2 innings of scoreless baseball to secure the win. Joseph Odom's homer in the third inning gave the Travs a brief lead but Tulsa responded the next inning to tie the score.

Moments That Mattered

Odom homered for the second consecutive game, blasting a two-run shot in the third.

Arkansas would get only one runner past first base in the final six innings of the game and that was with two out in the fourth.

Matt Walker, Stephen Perakslis and Art Warren each worked a scorless inning of relief to keep it a one-run game while stranding a combined six Driller runners.

Notable Travs Performances

C Joseph Odom: 1-2, run, BB, HR, 2 RBI, 9 game hit streak

2B Adam Law: 1-2, HBP, 10 game hit streak
