Tulsa, OK - The Springfield Cardinals (13-17) scored one in the 8th and 9th, and brought the go-ahead run to the plate in the final frame, but the Tulsa Drillers (20-10) escaped for the 5-3 win on Thursday night at ONEOK Field.

3B Jacob Buchberger got the Cardinals on the board with a solo home run in the 6th, his 6th homer of the year... 1B Chandler Redmond slugged his Double-A leading 11th home run of the year in the 8th, a solo shot... LF Matt Koperniak added an RBI single in the 9th to extend his six-game hitting streak... RHP Connor Lunn struck out a season-high seven batters across 5.2 innings, only allowing one earned run (three runs total) on five hits and one walk.
