
Drillers First Home Games of 2016 on Deck

Baseball is back at ONEOK Field as the Tulsa Drillers will play their home opener on Thursday, April 14. The Drillers will host the Corpus Christi Hooks, the AA affiliate of the Houston Astros.
The game is the first of a six-game homestand that will run through Tuesday, April 19. The Drillers will host the Hooks for three games, April 14-16. The San Antonio Missions, the affiliate of the San Diego Padres, will be in town for the second half of the six-game stretch, April 17-19.
Starting times for all three games in the series against Corpus Christi are scheduled for 7:05 PM. First pitch for the Sunday, April 17 game against San Antonio is scheduled for 1:05 PM followed up by the first weekday, day game of the year on Monday, April 18 at 12:05 PM.
The Drillers will wrap up the opening homestand on Tuesday, April 19 with the final game against the Missions starting at 7:05 PM.
In addition to all the Opening Night festivities that are listed below, other promotions in the first homestand will include:

NOTES OF INTEREST
OPENING NIGHT PARADE: The festivities will begin with the Drillers' annual Opening Night Parade! The parade will begin at 6:00 PM and will end at approximately 6:45 PM. Fans can line up along Greenwood Avenue and Archer Street, which run along the adjacent east and south sides of ONEOK Field. The parade will begin at OETA Tulsa (across from OSU-Tulsa) and conclude at the Oil Derrick Entrance of ONEOK Field at the corner of Archer Street and Elgin Avenue.
The parade will feature the US Army Corp of Engineers, the Oklahoma National Guard, the Shriners, Patriot Guard Riders, corvettes from The Tulsa Vette Set, Art Cars, Drillers players, local Little League Teams, Oil-E Coyote and Hornsby! The parade is sponsored by the Green Country Chevy Dealers.
KEEP THE WINNING STREAK GOING: Since moving to downtown Tulsa in 2010, the Drillers are 4-2 in home openers at ONEOK Field. They will aim for their fourth straight Opening Night win at home when they host the Corpus Christi Hooks on Thursday, April 14.

New additions to the discounted concession items for 2016 will be the popular Dodger Dogs and ice cream sandwiches.

Just in case Opening Night is not enough incentive, it is also the first Thirsty Thursday of the year. Twelve ounce servings of Bud and Bud Light draught beers and 16 ounce servings of Pepsi products will all be on sale for only $1 each.
RALLY TOWELS
Special Drillers Rally Towels will be passed out at all gate entrances as fans arrive at the game, courtesy of CPR of Tulsa.

The first 1,000 fans, age 14 & under, to enter the stadium at the Arvest or Oil Derrick entrances with a paid admission will receive custom Hornsby Build-A-Bears outfitted in baby blue Drillers shirts and hats, compliments of U.S. Cellular, Tulsa's Channel 8 and 92.1 The Beat!
Fans are also encouraged to bring a new or gently used teddy bear with them for a special donation drive. Everyone will be asked to toss their stuffed bears onto the field during the 7th Inning Stretch. Items will be collected and donated to The Children's Hospital at Saint Francis.

It's a 2 Works for You Kids Eat Free Souvenir Sunday and the first 500 fans, ages 12 and under, to enter the stadium through the Arvest and Oil Derrick Entrances will receive a free pair of Drillers ear buds.

FREE KIDS BASEBALL SKILLS CAMP
Before the game, youth baseball and softball players will be allowed onto the field for a clinic with the Drillers players. The clinic will run from 11:45AM-12:15PM. Kids wishing to participate are encouraged to arrive at the stadium at 11:30AM and can enter the field from Section 101 of the seating bowl.
KIDS RUN THE BASES
After the game, kids can circle the bases of ONEOK Field! The line begins in the first row between Sections 103 and 104.

The first $2 Tuesday of the year is brought to you by the City of Tulsa: Focus on the Four program, 2 Works For You and 106.1 The Twister! Fans can purchase General Admission Lawn tickets for only $2 each, while all other tickets are discounted $3 off normal prices.
Fans can also buy Mazzio's pizza slices, boxes of popcorn, cotton candy and 21 oz Pepsi fountain drinks for just $2 each. In addition, the popular Dodger Dogs and ice cream sandwiches are being added to the discounted concession items lineup for 2016.
