The Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Hot Rods (affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays) in the second game of a three-game set. Season Series: Dayton 6, Bowling Green 6. Dayton is 3-1 vs. the Hot Rods in Bowling Green.

Streaks: Dayton: Won 4. Bowling Green: Lost 1 (13-8 over last 21 games).

Last Game: Dayton won its fourth straight game, topping Bowling Green 5-4 in the first game of the series. Dayton trailed 4-1 after six innings, but Mark Fleury hit a game-tying three-run homer in the seventh and Henry Rodriguez drilled an RBI double in the eighth for the win. Blair Carson fired four scoreless innings of relief to earn the victory. Kevin Arico tossed a scoreless ninth inning for his second save on the trip. Fleury and Ryan LaMarre each had two hits.

Today's Starting Pitcher: Justin Walker makes his 13th start of the season tonight after beginning the year in the Dayton bullpen. In his last start on Saturday vs. Great Lakes, he was not involved in the decision (6.0 IP, 8 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 5 SO). He left the game in the top of the seventh leading 6-2 with a runner on base and no outs. Walker has gone six innings in 10 of his 12 starts and leads the club in quality starts with five. Walker split 2009 season between Dayton and Billings, going a combined 1-5, 3.65. He worked 56.2 innings, allowing 59 hits with 10 walks and 54 strikeouts. He walked just seven batters in 65 innings of college baseball in 2008 with Lamar University, going 2-2, 4.85 in 19 games (seven starts). He posted a combined record of 18-1 over his junior and senior seasons at Nederland High School in Nederland, Texas.
