Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the South Bend Silver Hawks (affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks) in the second game of a three-game series.

Last Game: Dayton defeated South Bend 7-4 in the first game of the series on Friday. For the first time this season, the Dragons enjoyed a two-home run inning and a three-homer game. Jesse Winker and Junior Arias belted homers in a five-run sixth and Seth Mejias-Brean added one in the eighth. Sammy Diaz had three hits and a walk in his first game of the year with Dayton. Nick Travieso allowed one run in five inning for his first pro win.

- Seth Mejias-Brean is batting .347 over his last 31 games to raise his average from .193 to .274. He has hit safely in nine straight games, matching the longest hitting streak of the year by a Dayton player (also by Mejias-Brean).

* Zach Vincej is batting .387 over his last nine games to raise his average from .226 to .248.

* Junior Arias is batting .330 over his last 28 games to raise his average from .211 to .268. Arias' 35 stolen base are third most in a season in Dragons history. The club record is 103 by Billy Hamilton in 2011.

* Eight Dragons have been selected to play in the Midwest League All-Star Game in Dayton on June 18. They are outfielder Jesse Winker (starter), shortstop Zach Vincej, and pitchers Robert Stephenson, Drew Cisco, Sal Romano, Sean Lucas, Alejandro Chacin, and Ben Klimesh. Stephenson will not play due to a hamstring injury.
