Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Great Lakes Loons (affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers) in the first game of a three-game series.

Last Game: Dayton lost at Lansing on Monday, 18-6.

* Seth Mejias-Brean leads the Midwest League in OPS in games played since May 12 at .946. He has played in 94 games since that date, batting .345 with 10 home runs and 62 RBI. He ranks second in the Midwest League in second half batting average at .353. He is batting .390 over his last 45 games since July 8. Over his last 18 games, he is 29 for 67, .434.

* Reds Minor League Player of the Year candidates: Dragons infielder Seth Mejias-Brean and outfielder Jesse Winker are among the primary contenders for the Chief Bender Award (Reds Minor League Player of the Year). Winker is third in batting average, fourth in homers, and fourth in RBI in the system (batting average rankings among full-season players).
