Dragons Announce Roster Changes

DAYTON, OHIO-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster changes today:

Infielder Brent Peterson has been promoted to Bakersfield (Class: Advanced-A, California League).

Infielder Robert Ramirez has been promoted to Dayton from Billings (Class: Rookie, Pioneer League).

The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.

A new roster is attached.

Peterson has appeared in 53 games for the Dragons this season. He hit .229 with no home runs and eight runs batted in.

Ramirez played in 34 games at Billings, batting .185 with two home runs and 10 RBI. He appeared in 44 games for the Dragons in the first half, batting .211 with two home runs and 19 RBI.

The Dragons open a huge three-game series at Great Lakes at 7:05 p.m. tonight. The Dragons trail Great Lakes by two and one-half games for the final playoff spot with six games to play.

The Dragons return home for the final series of the regular season Saturday-Monday vs. South Bend.
