FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Rymer Liriano doubled twice, but the TinCaps lost to the Dayton Dragons, 9-1, Friday at Parkview Field. The Dragons plated six runs in the sixth inning on their way to the win.

Dayton jumped ahead in the first when Ronald Torreyes drew a walk and later scored on a double by Yorman Rodriguez. LHP Noah Mull kept them scoreless until the fifth, when Torreyes drilled a solo homer to make it 2-0.

In the sixth, Donald Lutz led off with a homer and Mull walked David Vidal to finish his night on the mound. Dayton took advantage of a key error and got a two-run double from Dominic D'Anna which made it 7-0.
