
Douville Recalled to Worcester

FLORENCE, SC â The Pee Dee Pride announced today that defenseman Thierry Douville has been loaned to the American Hockey League's Worcester Ice Cats. Douville will be in uniform for Worcester's game on Saturday against Providence.
Pee Dee acquired Douville on January 17 as a part of a three-way trade involving the Greenville Grrrowl and Fresno Falcons. In 20 games with the Pride this season Douville has tallied two assists to go along with 106 penalty minutes. In 47 combined games this season with the Pride and Falcons, Douville has five assists and 259 penalty minutes. Douville ranks second in the league in penalty minutes, and leads the ECHL with 23 major penalties.
Pee Dee's five-game home stand continues with two more games this weekend. Friday, the Pride host the Pensacola Ice Pilots, and on Saturday, the Gwinnett Gladiators come to town.
