LINCOLN -- Lindsey Caughel was terrific on the hill, and Christian Ibarra slugged two home runs as the Saltdogs (6-3) split a pair of decisions with the Winnipeg Goldeyes (5-4) in front of 5,518 fans at Haymarket Park Saturday night.

Caughel (1-1) pitched 6 2/3 innings in the resumed game from Friday night, allowing two runs on five hits while fanning seven and walking zero to earn the win in a 5-2 Saltdogs victory.

Brad Orosey recorded the final out of the opener to earn his first save.

In the seven-inning nightcap, Winnipeg exploded for five runs in the sixth - four earned - to pull away in a 10-2 rout.

Luis Alen went 2-for-2 with a home run and a double against his former club. Ibarra tomahawked a homer to left in the fifth, his second of the evening and fourth of the year.
