Dillas host Broncos then Colts starting Saturday

AMARILLO, TX- The Amarillo Dillas welcome the Laredo Broncos Saturday to begin an eight-game home stand before the rival San Angelo Colts arrive on Wednesday, August 11 to close-out the next-to-last home stand of the regular season. All games will begin at 7:05pm with Sunday's match up at 6:05pm. Saturday's contest kicks-off Susan G. Komen Cancer Awareness Week where Dillas' players will wear custom designed pink jerseys, for the entire eight-game home stand, that will be auctioned off at the conclusion of the game on Saturday, August 14.
The home stand also includes free admission nights on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday courtesy of AquaOne, KVII PRONEWS7, and Potter Randall 9-1-1, respectively. In addition, the series includes Sonic Wacky Wednesday, Budweiser Thirsty Thursday, State Farm Tote Bag Giveaway, and a special National Anthem performance by American Idol's Top 24 contestant Lacey Brown, to close out Cancer Awareness Week on Saturday, August 14.

Sonic Wacky Wednesday - Fans will get a chance to "Make a Deal" with Dillas general manager Mark Lee when to win a prize for themselves or for everyone in the ballpark. Will it be $1 hot dogs? Could it be $1 beer? Or maybe a coupon for free food from Sonic?

Budweiser Thirsty Thursday - When 12-ounce canned beer is only 2 for $3 and 24-ounce soft drinks are just a buck all night long, from the time the gates open until last call.

Lacey Brown Night - American Idol "Top 12" contestant Lacey Brown will perform the National Anthem and God Bless America as the Dillas conclude Susan G. Komen Cancer Awareness Week. Pink game-worn Breast Cancer jerseys will be auctioned off after a week-long bidding process.
After this home stand the Dillas will travel to Coastal Bend on Sunday, August 15 to begin a four-game series against the Thunder before returning home on Thursday, August 19 for the last eight home games of the regular season.
