BINGHAMTON - The Binghamton Devils announced today that the club has signed forward Sam Kurker to a professional tryout contract. The announcement came from Binghamton's general manager, Tom Fitzgerald.

Kurker, 24, has 27 points (14 goals, 13 assists) in 32 games with the ECHL's Manchester Monarchs this season. Kurker also has appeared in 15 American Hockey League games this season with the Ontario Reign and recorded two goals and two assists.

The Boston, MA native helped the United States Hockey League's Sioux City Musketeers capture a Clark Cup in 2013-14 and won a Hockey East title with Northeastern University.

Overall, the 6-foot-2, 203-pound forward has played in 47 regular-season AHL games with Albany, Cleveland, Springfield, and Ontario.
