The Devils, who entered the weekend with a 13-0-2-0 record all-time against the Comets, lost Friday's game 2-1 at Times Union Center. These North Division rivals will meet for the third of eight contests on Dec. 14 at the Auditorium.

Albany's penalty kill went from feast to famine during the course of Saturday's game. The unit killed off four minutes and 57 seconds of 5-on-3 time during the first two periods before surrendering back-to-back power-play goals in the third.

Carter Bancks registered both of those goals, scoring at 13:17 and 14:43.

Albany had found itself in a 1-0 hole at 11:08 of the second when Darren Archibald scored shorthanded. Coleman returned the favor with a shorthanded tally at 18:21 - his fifth goal of the season. Both Archibald and Coleman's tallies were unassisted.

Next up, the Devils return to action Sunday at 3 pm against the Binghamton Senators at Times Union Center.
