ST. JOHN'S, NL - The St. John's IceCaps outshot Wilkes-Barre/Scranton but couldn't top the Penguins netminder Tristan Jarry as they fell 6-2 on Saturday afternoon at Mile One Centre.
Danny Kristo, Kevin Porter and Dominik Simon kicked off the scoring for the Penguins with three consecutive tallies before IceCaps' Chris Terry put St. John's on the board. Dan Audette and Sven Andrighetto picked up the helpers.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton would go on to score another two from Jean-Sebastien Dea and Tim Erixon. Audette potted the IceCaps second marker off a shot from Tom Parisi and Andrighetto picked up his second assist of the nighton the tally.
The IceCaps were unable to complete the comeback and Josh Archibald potted one last tally for the Penguins for a final score of 6-2.
