
DeAza heads to DL, Carroll recalled

Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have announced two roster changes affecting the Double-A Carolina Mudcats of the Southern League.
OF Alejandro DeAza, pulled from last night's game in the sixth inning, has been placed on the seven-day disabled list with a right wrist contusion. OF Brett Carroll has been recalled from Jupiter (Florida State League) to replace DeAza on the active roster.
Carroll will be in uniform tonight for the middle game of Carolina's five-game set against the Montgomery Biscuits.
