
David Hewson signs with Toronto

Mississauga - Days after locking up first place in the East Division, the Toronto Argonauts Football Club has signed Canadian LB David Hewson to a practice roster agreement.
Hewson was originally selected in the fifth round of the 2005 CFL Draft by the Calgary Stampeders. Prior to being drafted, Hewson had a solid five year career with the University of Manitoba Bisons where he was a starting cornerback. As a senior, he led Canada West in passes broken-up. He was twice named CIS Defensive Player of the Week as a freshman.
